The Job:

You will be joining the tech team to develop and scale our backend systems. As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

·      Collaborating across functions in your scrum team

·      Designing and developing backend services

·      Writing clean, simple and efficient code, covered with tests

·      Suggesting and proposing creative solutions to solve problems

·      Work closely with tech team (tester, frontend)

·      Continuously apply new technologies to maximize efficiency

Requirements:

·  Have 2+ years of experience working in Backend

·  Strong experience developing Ruby on Rails applications with ORM

·  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

·  Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and In-memory DB Redis/Memcached

·  Experience in building RESTful API

·  Having knowledge of TDD/BDD and writing tests with Rspec

·  Are fascinated with micro-services, concurrency, parallelism and distributed systems

·  Nice to have experience with MongoDB or any NoSQL DB

·  Nice to have experience with Kafka and Sidekiq

·  Nice to have DevOps knowledge: 

       + GCP/AWS deployment

       + Familiar with CI/CD

       + K8s and Docker
