The Job:

You will be joining the tech team to develop and scale our backend systems. As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for the following tasks:

·      Collaborating across functions in your scrum team

·      Designing and developing backend services

·      Writing clean, simple and efficient code, covered with tests

·      Suggesting and proposing creative solutions to solve problems

·      Work closely with tech team (tester, frontend)

·      Continuously apply new technologies to maximize efficiency

Requirements:

·      Have 1+ years of experience working in Backend (any languages)

·      Experience in building RESTful API

·      Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

·      Having knowledge of TDD/BDD

·      Nice to have experience with Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, Kafka and Sidekiq

·      Nice to have knowledge of micro-services, concurrency, parallelism and distributed systems
